HSY Joinery Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Joinery Drafter with CabMaster experience to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position based in Auburn, NSW ****.
As a Joinery Drafter, you will play a crucial role in translating design concepts and client specifications into precise technical drawings and documentation that guide our manufacturing and installation processes.
Your expertise in CabMaster software will be essential in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality across our joinery projects.
This position is vital to bridging the gap between design and production, directly impacting project timelines and customer satisfaction.Key responsibilitiesProduce detailed and accurate joinery and cabinet drawings using CabMaster softwareInterpret design briefs, client specifications, and architectural plans to create comprehensive technical documentationCollaborate with designers, carpenters, and project managers to ensure drawings meet specifications and manufacturing requirementsManage revisions and updates to drawings in response to client feedback or design modificationsEnsure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and best practices in joinery and cabinet makingPrepare cutting lists, material schedules, and other manufacturing documentation from finalised designsCommunicate with clients and internal teams regarding design clarifications and technical requirementsMaintain organised digital filing systems and project documentationSupport the production team by providing clear, detailed drawings that minimise manufacturing errorsWhat we're looking forDemonstrated proficiency in CabMaster software with a strong portfolio of joinery and cabinet workSolid understanding of joinery principles, cabinet construction methods, and timber specificationsAbility to read, interpret,
