As a Respiratory Protection and Vaccination Compliance Nurse, you'll work closely with staff across the District to deliver respiratory fit testing, support vaccination compliance, and minimise the risk of infectious disease transmission.
Every day, you'll play a key role in protecting the people who care for our community, ensuring they have the knowledge, protection, and support needed to work safely and confidently.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse with at least 2 years recent clinical experience, and Authorised Nurse Immuniser (ANI) qualification (or working towards same.Demonstrated computer literacy and experience in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, MS teams, MS excel and MS word, and other NSW Health IT systems such as Content Manager, StaffLink, VaxLink and ACCUfit as required.Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control principles or ability to be trained to the required level, during on boarding period.You will be required to complete theOASV Undertaking/ Declaration FormandTB Assessment Toolduring the recruitment process.This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases.The full list of requirements are outlined in theNSW Health OASV Policy(Page 11).
