Due to an exciting and rapid growth period, we have an opportunity for an experienced all rounder Project Manager and Site Supervisor to join our team delivering multiple aged care minor works refurbishments/projects across Victoria.
This role will require travel to project sites with overnight trips on occasion (depending on location).

We don't want to be big, we just want to be outstanding.As part of our construction team, we have an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager/Site Supervisor to lead and manage our trades and service delivery partners as we deliver projects for our aged care provider.
This role will be responsible for management of site safety, oversight and coordination of our trades and service delivery partners, budget and program management and scope compliance.Who are you?
A self starter with detailed eye and ability to manage everything on a site.
Someone who can take the lead, manage the subcontractors and suppliers.Taking the lead as the junior project manager/site supervisor, you are expected to manage all safety requirements and scope delivery for our projects.
This includes managing tool box talks, site inductions, safety assessments and ensuring subcontractors abide by the safe work method statement and risk assessments.Coordinating site access, subcontractors,
materials and providing regular feedback (written and oral reports) to ensure the works are completed on time and on budget and to a high quality.Although a part your role will involve supervising trades, it is expected that a certain percentage of your work will be on the tools as a carpenter.
As such previous experience in completing works yourself will be expected.Ideally you will have/be:Extensive experience in a similar role within the building and construction industryHands on experience gained within a contractor environment in similar industriesEnjoy getting your hands dirty and contributing to a project/fitoutUnderstanding of budgets and cost control to ensure that the site works are optimisedPassionate person who likes a challengeHas a keen eye for detailExecute the role to an extremely high standardBe accountable and holds other trades accountable when/if running sitesBe able to follow procedureOutstanding organisation and communication skillsHas the ability to problem solveWell presentedPolite, respectful and works well with othersPunctualThis opportunity will require successful candidates to undergo a medical and police check as well as hold working with Children's Clearances.Minimum Requirements for Role:Over 7 Year's similar experience.Strong carpentry experience e.g. certificate III in Carpentry preferredWhite Card and any other relevant trade licensesTake direction from project managersA thorough knowledge of construction procedures, preparations and sequencing of a build.Understands National Construction CodeStrict adherence to OH&S; safety policies and proceduresProfessional and polite communication when liaising with architects, client, sub-contractors, suppliers and company staff
