Contract Administrator (Remedial Building)
** Ideally seeking a Contract Administrator with experience in Remedial Building, or Insurance Building, or Refurbishment projects.
Experience outside of these areas wont be considered **

The Opportunity
An exciting permanent position is now available for a skilled Contract Administrator to join a collaborative and supportive team.
Ideally, you will bring experience in remedial building and façade/cladding replacement projects.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial success across multiple remedial and recladding projects (ranging from $5M to $25M).
Your duties will include:
Managing contract administration across 3-5 concurrent projects - Remedial building is much different to new build, you are dealing with much less subcontractors, this is why you can work across several projects.
Reviewing head contracts and subcontracts, identifying risks and compliance issues
Assessing contractor financial performance and ensuring cost control
Managing and processing variations, progress claims, and EOTs
Ensuring compliance with the Security of Payments Act and project-specific contract obligations
Undertaking pricing analysis and supporting accurate budgeting and forecasting
Preparing and certifying subcontractor payments
About You
We're seeking a capable and career-focused professional who brings:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Contract Administrator role, ideally within remedial or façade/cladding projects
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Strong working knowledge of contract law, drafting contracts (not just using templates), updating contractor scopes to contracts, negotiation, and change order processes
Proven ability to manage commercial documentation, claims, and risk mitigation strategies
