My client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team at their large-scale manufacturing facility in Ingleburn.
This is a fantastic chance to work within a fast-paced production environment, alongside an experienced maintenance team and supporting highly automated plant and equipment.Full time, permanent positionAfternoon Shift – Mon–Fri 1:30PM - 10:30PM + OT$*****PH + loading + Super + OT – Experience dependentThe roleYou'll be working across a busy manufacturing site, undertaking a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdown response, fault finding and continuous improvement, helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the day-to-day efficient running of plant and equipmentCarry out preventative and reactive maintenanceDiagnostics, electrical fault finding and troubleshootingPLC fault finding and troubleshootingWork with SCADA systems,
VSDs/drives and automated control systemsSupport process improvements and equipment reliabilityRespond to breakdowns and minimise production downtimeOperate, maintain and service production machineryProvide technical support to the production teamMaintain compliance with Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP standardsAccurately record maintenance activities and update CMMS systemsExperienceTrade Qualified A-Grade Electrician with minimum 4 years' maintenance experience in manufacturingStrong electrical fault finding and diagnostic experienceExperience with PLCs and PLC fault findingExperience with SCADA systemsExperience with VSDs/drives and automated production equipmentFood manufacturing experience highly regardedHands-on approach with a strong work ethicExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamForklift licence advantageous
