We are currently seeking CASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with experience on the B737NG and B787 aircraft types.
Additional type ratings on the A320, A330, A350, or B737 MAX will be highly regarded.
For the right candidate, opportunities for further training and type-rating development may be available.
What you'll be doing
We are seeking a Casual Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the growing team in Melbourne.
The position is to supportlong termcontracts Menzies AviationEngineering has with the international airlinesand airfreight operators in Melbourne.
You will be part of a team of engineers carrying out line maintenance, defect rectification and AOG repairs.
We are looking for a keen, dynamic individual with the right attitude who wants to be part of a small but growing flexible friendly team.
We offer a competitive remuneration package along with a flexible roster.
To be eligible for this position you must:
Hold CASA B1/CAANZ LicenseHold B737NG and/or B787Have exercised license privileges within the last 24 monthsBe able to obtain an ASIC and ADAEligible to work/live in AustraliaMust be based or willing to relocate to live in the Melbourne area.

Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster (shift work)Professional, approachable and warm in style with a solid attention to detailThe ability to work at pace and meet critical deadlinesPrevious experience in the same or similar role for a minimum of 5 years within the aviation industryEffectively and efficiently work autonomouslyYou will be extremely flexible and happy to get down into the detail and be operationalStrong ability to problem solves and deliver solution-based outcomesCan anticipate needs, be agile and flexibleEffective and efficient time management skillsStrong written & verbal communicationskills, with a focus on detailProficient ability to utilise the Microsoft Office suite
