Job DescriptionWe're recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a 3–4 month contract to close out a major highways project.
The scheme is in its final stages, covering finishing works, surfacing, and street furniture before a full opening later this year.
You'll join an established team who've been on the project from the start, meaning you'll be brought up to speed quickly on their systems, processes and what's needed from you.
Experience working with NEC contracts is essential.Quantity Surveyor Duties:Work with the project team to record costs, change and variationMinimise cost and risk while enhancing value for moneyProvide commercial support to engineering staffManage costs and budget in line with the NEC contractRaise early warning notices and compensation eventsForecasting and CVRsThis is a freelance contract supporting the final stages of the project.
