Project Manager - Commercial ShopfittingFix It Up Pty Ltd is a Brisbane commercial shopfitting and fitout contractor delivering retail, hospitality/QSR, medical and office fitouts across SE QLD and interstate.
We are hiring a full time Project Manager to run multiple fitouts from award to handover, reporting to the Director.Key responsibilitiesRun 3-5 concurrent commercial fitout projects end to end: programme, budget, subcontractors, site and clientBuild and manage project programmes; coordinate trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire, ceilings/partitions, flooring, signage)Coordinate joinery with in-house workshop: shop drawing review, approvals, manufacture and install sequencingRead and interpret architectural/design plans; raise RFIs; manage design changes and variationsManage cost: subcontractor procurement, purchase orders, progress claims, variations and final accountLiaise with clients, designers, landlords and centre management (shopping centre fitout rules, inductions, after-hours works)Run site: WHS, SWMS, site inspections, quality, defects and practical completion/handover (O&Ms;, certification)Assist estimating and site measures when needed; mentor junior PMAbout you3+ years project managing commercial shopfitting or fitout projects (retail, hospitality,



QSR or similar)Strong plan reading and understanding of construction sequencing and tradesProven programme and budget control on multiple concurrent jobsWhite Card, current driver's licence and own reliable vehicleStrong written communication and organisation; comfortable with digital PM tools (Monday.com or similar)Joinery/cabinetmaking or carpentry trade background (nice to have)Shopping centre fitout experience (Scentre, Vicinity, etc.) (nice to have)QBCC licence or working towards one; First Aid (nice to have)About usFix It Up Pty Ltd is a Brisbane commercial shopfitting and fitout contractor (QBCC ********) based in Sumner Park, with our own in-house joinery workshop (Curva).
