Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Fire Equipment Service Technician to join our Melbourne team.
The Opportunity
This role focuses on the inspection, testing and maintenance of portable fire equipment in accordance with AS****.
Experience is highly regarded — but not essential.We are happy to train the right person who is motivated, reliable and eager to learn a trade.
This is a fantastic entry pathway into the fire protection industry.
What You'll Be Doing
Working as part of our service team, your responsibilities will include:
Servicing and testing fire extinguishers and fire blankets
Inspecting fire hose reels and basic hydrant systems




Completing routine essential services testing in line with AS****
Recording results and submitting compliance reports via our digital systems
Providing great customer service while on client sites
Working safely and following OH&S; procedures
No two days are the same — you'll be visiting a variety of buildings across Melbourne.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable and self-motivated
Practical and enjoys hands-on work
Friendly and professional with clients
Organised and able to work independently
Keen to learn and build a long-term career
Requirements
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
Australian working rights
Good communication skills
Experience in fire protection (advantage, not essential)
Trade or technical background (advantage, not essential)
