About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalised support that enhances the quality of life for the individuals in your care.
You will work closely with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to promote independence, community participation, skill-building, and emotional wellbeing.
Every day is different, and you'll be supporting clients with a range of activities depending on their unique goals and needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored support based on individual care plans
Provide personal care including grooming, showering, and mobility assistance
Support with medication prompts and routine health monitoring
Assist clients with community access (appointments, outings, events)
Encourage and support daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, etc.)
Build trusted relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and incident reports




Uphold NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies
Advocate for participant rights, dignity, and informed choice
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is compassionate, dependable, and aligned with our core values of respect, inclusion, and empowerment.
While experience is highly valued, we're also open to individuals with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
A genuine passion for supporting others
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health, or Community Services (or working towards it)
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
Valid Working with Children Check (if applicable)
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (with insurance)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Willingness to support clients with complex behaviours (training provided)
Valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa allowing legal employment
Experience working under the NDIS framework
Knowledge of trauma-informed practice or positive behaviour support
Manual handling and infection control training
Mental Health First Aid or experience with psychosocial disabilities
