Disability Support Worker – Brisbane & Moreton BaySLS Collective T/A Mindcare Network – Bracken Ridge QLDAs a Support Worker with Mindcare Network, you'll work with a range of participants across Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region, providing individualised support based on each person's needs, goals and interests.A key part of this position will also involve supporting a family, including working closely with children and young people.
Building genuine relationships, having fun and providing consistent, family-centred support will be an important part of this role.Consistency is really important to our participants, so we're looking for someone who can offer reliable and consistent availability each week and build ongoing relationships with the people they support.Weekend availability is essential for this position, and applicants must be available to work regular weekend shifts.Key responsibilitiesCommunity access and social activitiesSupporting participants to build confidence, independence and life skillsEngaging in activities with children and young peopleDaily living and in-home supportAttending appointments and community activitiesPersonal care where requiredSupporting participants to work towards their individual NDIS goalsWorking alongside parents/carers and other members of a participant's support networkProviding trauma-informed, respectful and person-centred supportAbout youFor this role, personality and finding the right fit with our participants is really important.We're looking for someone who is:Friendly,
