Job DescriptionFixed term (until June, ****) part time (20 HPW) position availableExcellent benefits including salary packagingTruganina locationAbout the RoleThe Administration Clerk will conduct a wide range of organisational and administrative tasks that support and facilitate patient care.
This role will predominately be responsible for the coordination of access to services, referral management and information management systems of the St John's unit at Port Phillip Prison.Appointment scheduling and entries in the electronic patient record.Routine administration duties – typing, telephone, storing data entry, appointments, meeting preparation, minute taking, photocopying, scanning, faxing and emailing.Effective communication skills with SVCHS staff, Correctional staff, Port Phillip Prison subcontracted services and external health services.Report and elevate issues to the Nurse Unit ManagerClassification for this position will range between HS1 – HS17 ($65,****** - $********* per annum, pro rata)Your ContributionPSC Training CourseCompletion of Year 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracyCurrent Police checkAbility to be self-directing and work with minimum supervisionInterest in working in a patient focused environmentExcellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloadExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary teamComputer skills – working knowledge of Windows environment including word processing, spread sheets and databaseWhat we OfferConfidential, solutions-focused employee counsellingA healthy work/life balance encouraged.Salary Packaging – Increase your take home pay!
