About the role
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a casual basis for a 4-6 week assignment to start on Monday 12/10/2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment whilst contributing to the efficient operation of our distribution centre located in Parkinson, QLD ****.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely.
This position offers flexibility for those seeking short-term work or looking to develop their warehouse and logistics skills in a professional setting.
Key responsibilities
Organizing and storing products in designated locations within the warehouse, following proper inventory management procedures
Unloading containers when needed
Picking and packing items according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and hand trucks safely and efficiently
Maintaining a clean,
tidy and secure warehouse environment, including regular housekeeping and waste management
Supporting the broader warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Following all health and safety protocols and company procedures at all times
What we're looking for
Previous warehouse or similar manual handling experience is preferred but not essential
Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive lifting and carrying tasks safely
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and documentation
Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
Basic numeracy skills for inventory tracking and order checking
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
