UPA of NSW is building a directly employed casual team of Registered Nurses across Yeovalfor Christmas, New Year and beyond.These are direct UPA employment opportunities—not agency placements.

You'll also play an important role in providing clinical guidance and support to the wider care team.Your responsibilities may include:Providing safe, person-centred nursing care within your RN scope of practiceCompleting clinical assessments and identifying residents' changing care needsDeveloping and contributing to individual care plansProviding clinical support, advice and guidance to Personal Care Workers and the wider care teamMaintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentationResponding appropriately to changes in residents' health and escalating concerns where requiredSupporting medication management in line with UPA policies and clinical requirementsCommunicating effectively with residents, families, medical professionals and other health professionalsProviding clinical supervision and supporting employees to maintain appropriate clinical competenciesContributing to quality improvement, infection control and safe clinical practiceThe role carries responsibility for clinical care as well as providing effective clinical supervision and guidance to employees delivering resident care.YOU'LL BE A POSITIVE FIT IF YOU:Are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registrationHold a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualificationHave at least 12 months' post-registration experienceHave a compassionate, respectful and resident-focused approach to nursingHave strong clinical assessment,
decision-making and problem-solving skillsCommunicate confidently with residents, families and multidisciplinary teamsAre reliable and comfortable responding to available casual shiftsHold current Australian working rightsCan work across a range of days and shift timesPrevious residential aged-care experience, experience with LeeCare or Medsig, and current First Aid & CPR are desirable.ABOUT UPAUPA of NSW is a values-driven, not-for-profit organisation providing residential aged care, home care and retirement living services throughout NSW.Our philosophy is centred on providing quality care while supporting every person's right to live with dignity, respect and security.Our focus is simple: ensuring our residents always have "our people by their side".
