We are looking for a calm, fun and engaging Educator to support a lovely family with the care of their two children, a preschooler and a school-aged child. This role would suit someone who enjoys creating meaningful connections with children of different ages and can provide a great mix of fun, structure, flexibility, and understanding. You will spend your time planning age-appropriate activities for both children, heading out on fun adventures in the local community and creating opportunities for play, learning, and everyday life skills. There are no school drop-offs or pick-ups required,

however you will need a reliable car to get out and about for activities and outings. The family is looking for an Educator who has experience supporting neurodiverse children and behaviours and understands that sometimes the plan needs to change. You will be confident recognising when emotions are becoming heightened, calmly shifting the focus, and helping the children regulate and re-engage without turning the moment into a battle. This is a lovely prospect for an Educator who knows that a great day does not always need to go exactly to plan.Someone who can bring the fun, stay calm when things get a little wobbly, and adapt their approach to meet each child where they are.
