TRILITY is looking for a Trainee Service Technician to join our team in Yatala, Queensland.As your skills and confidence grow, you'll have the chance to develop towards a mechanical or instrumentation trade in a specialist water-treatment career.Key responsibilitiesWorking alongside experienced technicians, you will learn to:Assist with servicing and maintaining chemical dosing equipment and water-treatment equipmentAssist with installing chemical pipework, components and associated equipmentCalibrate, service and repair water-quality instrumentsAssist with fault finding, troubleshooting and practical problem solvingIdentify parts and equipment required for service and maintenance workPrepare accurate service reports and use digital tools to record and submit site informationFollow protected work procedures, company processes and quality standardsComplete product, technical and safety trainingAssist with improving systems, processes and safe ways of workingProvide professional and friendly service when working with customers and at customer sitesWhat we are looking forWe're looking for a school leaver, junior or someone looking at starting a career in the water industry who is keen to learn and develop practical technical skills.
You'll ideally have:A positive, reliable and can-do attitudeA genuine interest in practical, hands-on and technical workA willingness to learn, take feedback and develop new skillsGood basic maths, reading and communication skillsGood concentration, attention to detail and problem-solving abilityThe ability to follow instructions, ask questions and work safelyA team-first attitude and professional approach with customers and colleaguesComfort using phones, tablets,
