We are looking for staff who have experience managing complex behaviour, as well as providing support with day-to-day personal care.
Staff will assist the participant with putting on their AFO brace and transitioning between appointments.
This role requires staff to communicate with the participant using Proloquo and sign language.
Training will be provided to support you in learning both.

Your Impact
Provide person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice, safety, and independence.Assist the participant with personal care, including putting on their AFO brace.Support the participant with transitions to and from appointments.Support the participant with complex behaviours using calm, respectful, and consistent approaches in line with their Positive Behaviour Support plan.Use Proloquo and sign language to communicate with the participant and support them to make their own choices.Encourage the participant to build confidence, stay connected with their community, and work towards their personal, social, and self-care goals.Complete accurate records and progress notes to support continuity of care and positive outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced Support Worker who brings skill, compassion, and reliability to complex disability support.
You may be a excellent fit if you:
Have experience supporting participants with complex behaviours and have worked with Positive Behaviour Support strategiesBring a calm, respectful, person-centred approach to challenging or changing situationsAre confident with personal care and providing support with dignityAre willing to learn Proloquo and sign language (experience with AAC or Auslan is an advantage)Can observe and record changes in a participant's wellbeing against their support plan, and elevateCommunicate clearly, follow support plans, and work collaboratively with families and support teams

A cleared NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide CPR Qualification
