Horizon Skin Cancer & Medical Centre is actively recruiting for a casual RN to join our dedicated team at our brand new purpose built practice at Forster.We're looking for an experienced registered nurse with a passion for primary health care to be part of our growing practice.
You will be part of a team that provides a holistic and dedicated approach to skin cancer diagnosis and treatment and comprehensive health care to the community.In this role you will:Comply with relevant Infection Prevention & Control GuidelinesHave responsibility for Cold Chain ManagementBe responsible for reprocessing of reusable instrumentsMaintain accurate documentation and manage recall/reminder systems, data and clinical softwareManage inventory and ordering of medical supplies,



ensuring adequate stock levelsDeliver continuous quality improvement activities and initiatives through the review of systems and procedures to ensure productive and accessible careProvide excellent patient care, including vaccinations, wound care, infusions, careplans and health assessmentsAssist with chronic disease management and deliver patient educationAssist with proceduresCollaborate seamlessly with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient careWhat will you bring?
Current RN registration with APHRAPrevious experience in general practice or primary care is highly regardedStrong communication skills with patient-focused approachProficiency in performing general practice nurse duties, including immunisations, procedure assistance, wound care, and stock checkingExperience with developing Care Plans and Health Assessments, showcasing leadership in chronic disease management processesAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively within a teamFlexible availability to provide holiday cover when requiredExperience with Best Practice software or similar is an advantage.We thank you in advance for your interest in this position.
