Parts Business Development Manager - Industrial
Base salary + company bonus + vehicle + super

Volvo Group Australia manages the manufacturing, distribution and operation of well-known brands such as Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, UD Trucks, Volvo Bus, Volvo Penta, Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Financial Services.
This role sits within our Volvo Penta business.

What you will do
As the Parts Business Development Manager for our Industrial business, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth in the Volvo Penta Industrial parts and service business across OEM's in the Oceania region.
You will develop dealer capability, identify commercial opportunities and support the execution of service market initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Drive growth in OEM and Dealer parts and services sales by identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration, profitability and customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, OEMs, customers and industry stakeholders to support business growth and strengthen the Volvo Penta market presence
Promote and support the Industrial parts and accessories portfolio, including new products, technologies, seasonal campaigns and service offerings
Support OEMs in implementing best practices in parts sales, inventory management, service operations and customer engagement.
Drive adoption and effective use of Volvo Penta systems and digital tools, including inventory management and performance reporting platforms
Conduct dealer operating standard audits and support action plans to improve compliance and operational performance
Undertake regular domestic travel to visit Dealer's, and represent Volvo Penta at customer meetings, trade shows, conferences and industry events.
Your future team
Reporting to the Director Industrial Business, you will work in a team of 7, including BDM's, Technical Support, an Application Engineer and a Key Account Manager.
This role will be based in our brand new Penta offices in Yatala, Gold Coast.

Who are you?
We believe that your behaviours and characteristics are just as key as your technical skills, so ideally you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience
Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, aftersales, parts or service market roles
Industry experience within marine, automotive, industrial equipment or related sectors
Proven ability to identify and convert commercial opportunities and deliver sales and profitability targets
Experience working with OEMs, dealer, distributor or channel partner networks to drive business growth and performance improvement.
Strong commercial acumen, including an understanding of pricing, margins, inventory management and market dynamics
Well-developed relationship management and influencing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems, including CRM and reporting tools.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a robust customer focus and results orientation
Willingness to undertake regular domestic travel and attend after hours meetings if needed.
