The ideal candidate will be required to attend multiple clients homes and excel in handling short shifts (1-3 hours per client).
About The RoleAs a casual Personal Care Worker, you will aim to maximise the service recipients' independence by addressing their individual needs, building positive home environments and relationships, making a meaningful impact on the lives we support.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:Assisting with personal care (e.g., bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, medication management, bed transfers, etc.).
Supporting service recipients in accessing appointments or recreational activities, and monitoring and reporting on progress, health, and other issues.Assisting with domestic assistance (e.g., vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathroom and toilet, damp dusting, laundry, light domestic duties).
About YouMandatory Requirements:Must have your own reliable smartphone to access AlayaCare AppMust have a minimum qualification in Disability or Aged Care (Cert III/IV)Must have an Australian's driver's license, your own car, comprehensive insuranceCurrent National Police CheckCurrent NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent Working With Children Check (Employee Type)Current First Aid (HLTAID011)



& CPR (HLTAID009) CertificateCurrent Manual Handling (HLTWHS005) CertificatePrevious experience providing personal care, community access, and domestic assistanceOnly applicants with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
