In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will mentor junior staff, supervise students and contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.What You'll Be DoingAdvanced Clinical PracticeDeliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and consultation services across acute, outpatient, community and aged care programs.Provide supervision, clinical support and mentoring to Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, supporting workforce development and skilled growth.Patient-Centred CareWork collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that optimise functional outcomes and quality of life.Service Development & Quality ImprovementContribute to service planning,
quality improvement activities and strategic initiatives that enhance physiotherapy services and patient care.Clinical LeadershipSupport the Chief Physiotherapist with departmental operations and provide leadership and operational support when required.What You BringBachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification)Current AHPRA registration as a PhysiotherapistMinimum three years' physiotherapy experienceDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services across a range of clinical settingsExperience supervising or mentoring students, Allied Health Assistants or junior cliniciansStrong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational and time management capabilitiesCommitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional developmentCurrent Driver's LicenceCurrent Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Rights to work in AustraliaWhy Join Western District Health Service?
