As part of Victoria's largest Early Years Management provider, we're proud to support over 93 services and 700+ educators across the state who inspire, nurture, and empower young learners every day.
We're now looking for a Casual Early Childhood Teachers — or someone who's currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
Where you'll work
We're looking for casual Early Childhood Teachers to support our Y Kinders services across Mirboo North, Inverloch, Newhaven and Wonthaggi (White Road and Drysdale Street).
These services are located across the Bass Coast and South Gippsland region, offering the chance to work with a variety of welcoming kindergarten communities while enjoying the flexibility of casual work.
You don't need to live in these towns to apply.
ECTs living within a reasonable travel distance of any of these services are encouraged to apply, including those interested in working across one or multiple locations.
Whether you're looking for regular casual work, additional days alongside another role or greater flexibility, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do




Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child's growth and development
Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired
Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

What You'll Bring
Current qualification in Early Childhood Teaching and current registration with VIT
A genuine interest in supporting children's development and commitment to ongoing learning
Current Working with Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
