About the role
Our Sydney Processing Centreis seeking a Processing Technician to aid in the sufficient and safe provision of blood, plasma and biological products.
You'll achieve this through teamwork, collaboration and an uncompromising focus on safety, quality and customer service, taking pride in delivering the right products, to the right places, at the right time.
A day as a Processing Technician could see you:
Unpack shippers and log data into Lifeblood systemsProcess and separate blood componentsSeparate and store red cellsFreeze and store plasma componentsLoad and unload the rapid plasma freezerParticipate in standard equipment set up, maintenance and cleaning with training, supervision and supportMaintain a high level of commitment to quality systems, quality control measures and application

Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and twist to operate different platformsExperience working to standard operating procedures in a regulated production environmentHighly developed interpersonal skills with a collaborative working styleExperience in a scientific laboratory would be advantageous but not essential




This is a permanent part time opportunity -22.8 hours with a 24/7 rotating roster system therefore an ability to participate varied shifts is required.
