Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville is seeking enthusiastic Group Facilitators to join our dedicated Group Therapy Team on a casual basis, with opportunities to work across both day and evening shifts.About the RoleYou will join a compassionate and supportive multi-disciplinary team and will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based group therapy, complete clinical assessments and contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of our group programs.Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville, a private mental health facility, offers a range of specialist programs in a calm, welcoming and restorative environment.
Our programs are managed, facilitated, and supported by an experienced, multidisciplinary team of health professionals.This role is open toPsychologists (Clinical/Counselling/Registered)Social WorkersOccupational TherapistsCounsellorsNurse TherapistsAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you will bring clinical experience in therapy interventions, preferably within a hospital or specialist mental health setting.
You will have a passion for evidence-based treatment, a commitment to recovery-oriented care, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.Current registration and experience as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Nurse Therapist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with demonstrated experience in mental health.Experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions for individuals with complex mental health presentations and/or co‐occurring substance use disorders in group settings.Knowledge of, and experience applying, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including one or more of the following: DBT, CPT, CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.Demonstrated expertise in group facilitation, psychoeducation, and therapeutic group processes.Strong ability to attune to participant needs, emotions,
and non‐verbal communication.Proven capability to effectively manage group dynamics while fostering a safe, inclusive, and balanced therapeutic environment.High level of self‐awareness, reflective practice, and emotional resilience.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient‐centred care.Commitment to service development, innovation, and continuous quality improvement.AHPRA Approved Supervisor (Board‐Approved Supervisor status).
