reliable team where your work truly impacts lives and every day feels purposeful.Home Care are seeking a reliable and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our growing team and provide person-centred support to clients in their own homes.This is a part-time position based in Hamilton, Coleraine, Balmoral and surrounding areas, supporting the growing demand for services within the local community.
While days can be flexible, you will be required to be available to work Thursdays and Fridays.In this role, you will support clients to maintain their independence and live safely and comfortably at home and your responsibilities will include cleaning and domestic assistance activities.To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or a related qualification.

As Home Care Assistant you will:Undertake domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, food preparation,



and shopping, ensuring a safe and comfortable home environment.Offer social support and transport services to enable clients to participate in community life, attend appointments, and maintain social connections.Monitor client health and wellbeing, and promptly report any changes in condition, behaviour, or environment to the Home Care Manager.Maintain professional, respectful relationships with clients, ensuring appropriate boundaries, accurate documentation, and a positive representation of Respect in the community, while supporting reablement and independence.About YouYou'll thrive with us if you have:Be physically able to perform role responsibilities safely and effectively.Maintain First Aid certification (within 3 years), driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive work-use vehicle insurance.Comply with mandatory vaccinations, including COVID-19 (and ideally flu).
Demonstrate relevant community care experience, such as home care, personal care, or disability support work.Desirable to have a Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent qualification but not essential, and a current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain).
