About the role
As a Bartender at Shangri-La Sydney, you will play a key role in delivering a vibrant, engaging and memorable bar experience for our guests.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about beverages, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing hospitality setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and serving cocktails, beverages and specialty drinks to the highest luxury hotel standards
Providing warm, professional and personalised service while anticipating and responding to guest needs
Demonstrating strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and other beverage offerings




Contributing creative ideas for cocktails, seasonal offerings and memorable guest experiences
What success looks like
Cocktails and beverages are prepared consistently, accurately and to a high standard
The bar remains clean, organised and well presented throughout service
Beverage knowledge is confidently demonstrated when assisting guests with recommendations
The bar experience reflects the quality and service standards expected of a luxury hotel
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous bartending experience within a fast-paced, high-volume or premium hospitality environment
Strong cocktail and beverage knowledge with a genuine passion for mixology
A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
