Warehouse Packaging Operator | Altona North$***** per hour + Super | Weekly PayDay Shift | Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pmWe are currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Packaging Operators to join a busy food manufacturing and distribution operation based in Altona North.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, packaging, or pick-packing experience who are looking for consistent work within a supportive team environment.While the majority of weeks will provide 5 days of work, applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday, as some weeks may reduce to 3-4 shifts depending on operational requirements.About the RoleWorking within a chilled food production and warehouse environment,
your responsibilities will include:Packaging and labelling products accurately and efficientlyWorking in a cold storage environment (all required PPE and protective clothing provided)Inspecting products and isolating damaged goodsUsing RF scanners to verify and track inventoryMeeting daily productivity and quality targetsFollowing workplace health and safety proceduresCollaborating with team members to ensure smooth operationsTo Be Successful, You Will HavePrevious warehouse, packaging or pick-packing experienceExperience working in cold storage environments (highly regarded)Ability to lift up to 15kg occasionally and 5kg frequentlyComfortable working in a chilled workplace for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication skills and a team-focused attitudeReliable transport and excellent attendance recordAvailability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pmWhat's On Offer$***** per hour + SuperWeekly payDay shift schedule with early finishesSupportive team environmentOngoing casual opportunity with consistent workImmediate start available for suitable candidates
