A calm, supportive, and creative person.
With emotional intelligence, flexibility and an accepting nature.
Able to connect with Children and Youth and build quality relationships
A person who can balance play and empathy, while working within a therapeutic framework.
What sets you apart:
Experience in Youth Work, Child Care, Day Care or Schools highly advantageous.
Knowledge of the child protection system and therapeutic practices.

Key Requirements
Certificate IV

The current role:
As a Youth Worker with RISE, you will be at the heart of our operations, helping to nurture and empower vulnerable young people.

The Responsibilities Include:
Providing targeted support to younger children and sibling groups to help them achieve their goals.
Working towards transitioning children and young people into family, kinship, or foster care placements.
Maintaining a clean and safe residential environment.
Managing day-to-day tasks within a care setting.
Completing detailed verbal and written reports.
Working within our ASCEND framework.
