If you have an interest in treasury finance incorporatingtechnical accounting and are looking to work on complex, bespoke engagements and transactions with a focus on IFRS 9 and hedge accounting, as well as providing ongoing treasury finance operations, this is the prospect for you.
Responsibilities:
Provision of outsourced derivative accounting for a diverse client base
Delivery of bespoke hedge accounting solutions for client transactions and business activities
Continual client engagement, serving as their subject matter expert on various aspects of IFRS 9
Treasury financial management and treasury reporting including securitisation finance
Engagement with global counterparts on various projects
Ad hoc project engagements for clients as required
Experience:
CA/CPA qualified or close to qualification
Interest in technical accounting, and in particular IFRS 9
Understanding of financial instruments is highly valued
Proven background in treasury accounting or securitisation
Strong communicator, and an ability to work with a diverse client base
Diligent approach to researching solutions for unique scenarios
