You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, take ownership of your work and build strong client relationships from day one.What you will be doingPreparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a diverse client portfolioBookkeeping,
reconciliations and month-end accountingCompleting payroll tax and other compliance obligations on timeLiaising with clients, the ATO and other stakeholdersManaging your own workflow and deadlinesUsing technology to improve efficiency and processesWhat you bringAustralian Permanent Residency or Citizenship (this is essential)2+ years' experience in tax and business services in public practiceCA or CPA completed, in progress, or a willingness to startGood working knowledge of Xero, XPM, MYOB and QuickBooks or similarA careful, accurate approach to your workStrong communication skills, a positive attitude to learning and feedback, and an open-minded approach to solving problemsWhat is on offerA clear career pathway to Senior Accountant, Manager and beyondCA/CPA study support and ongoing technical trainingWork from home up to two days per weekModern technology that reduces manual compliance work and frees you up for advisoryA connected, team-oriented culture with regular social and wellbeing eventsModern Perth CBD offices, paid parental leave and an Employee Assistance Program
