Key responsibilities
Conducting compliance reviews, investigations and assurance activities using a risk-based approach.
Reviewing and analysing financial information, disclosure returns, applications, claims and supporting documentation to determine compliance with legislative requirements.
Identifying emerging compliance risks, trends and potential avoidance behaviours through the use of intelligence, data analytics and information-gathering techniques.
Assessing complex information from multiple sources and formulating evidence-based recommendations.
Preparing detailed briefs, reports, correspondence and submissions for senior decision-makers.
Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of regulatory policies, procedures and compliance strategies.
Supporting regulatory responses to potential non-compliance and enforcement matters.
Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate compliance outcomes.
Providing guidance, mentoring and support to junior team members and contributing to capability development across the team.

About You
Experience leading or supporting compliance reviews, audits, investigations, assurance activities or other structured regulatory processes.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify risks and provide sound recommendations.
Demonstrated experience reviewing financial, commercial or regulatory information and applying legislation, policy or procedural frameworks.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, defensible and high‐quality work that can withstand scrutiny.
Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing briefings, reports, submissions and correspondence for varied audiences.
Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships and influence positive outcomes.
The ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and deliver results in a fast‐paced environment.
A flexible and adaptable approach, particularly when responding to legislative reform, changing priorities and evolving business requirements.
A team-oriented leadership style and commitment to fostering a positive, high‐performing team culture.
Baseline clearance or the ability to obtain one is a must.
