The Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter based at our Brisbane site on night shift to ensure our production and manufacturing processes are safely and effectively maintained to achieve production outcomes.
Reporting to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
Installation, repair and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipmentFault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and complex mechanical systemsBreakdown, routine and preventive maintenance
The Person
You'll be a maintenance professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering tangible business outcomes.
You'll also bring experience and previous knowledge in:
Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholdersStrong attention to detail,



information processing and problem-solving skills along with the ability to multitaskAbility to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performanceMachine fault finding to ensure challenging production targets are met and equipment optimizationComputer literate & ability to navigate your way around our preventative maintenance program, MEXWorking knowledge of WHS principlesProduction maintenance, fabrication, repair and close out of MEX requests will be a focus of this position.Minimum Certificate III in a mechanical trade qualificationDemonstrated experience in a food or pharma manufacturer preferred
