We're seeking a Senior Business Banker to manage and grow an established portfolio of commercial lending customers across the Newcastle region.

The opportunity
As a Senior Business Banker, you will:
Manage and develop an established portfolio of commercial lending customers




Deepen existing customer relationships while identifying growth opportunities
Build strong connections with local businesses, referral partners, brokers and community networks
Structure lending solutions tailored to customers' needs and goals
Deliver sound credit and commercial outcomes while maintaining exceptional customer service
Represent Regional Australia Bank within the local business community
Contribute to a high-performing team focused on long-term customer success
About you
We're looking for someone who combines strong relationship-building skills with commercial acumen and a genuine passion for helping customers succeed.
You may already be working in Business Banking, Commercial Banking or a related lending environment, or you may be ready to step into a more senior portfolio management role.
To be successful, you'll bring:
Experience in commercial, business or relationship banking
Exposure to business lending and credit assessment
Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
A proven ability to identify opportunities and grow customer relationships
Sound commercial judgement and problem-solving capability
Excellent communication and networking skills
A customer-focused mindset and genuine commitment to delivering great outcomes
Established local connections or the ability to quickly build a strong professional network within the Newcastle business community
