We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.About the RoleAs an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant you will provide personalised home care support to older Australians inthe Geelong area, helping them continue to live independently in their own homes.You will travel between multiple clients homes acrossGeelong and surrounding suburbs, so ability to travel is essential(you will be reimbursed $1.01 per KM travelled while you are working).
We have casual and permanent part time opportunities available with shifts offered throughout the week.




Applicants must be available to work across a flexible range of days and times.Key ResponsibilitiesDomestic duties which may include but are not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, emptying bins, washing/ironingPersonal care inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeingTransportation and community access to medical appointments and social activitiesProvide support with daily tasks and routinesFoster positive relationships with clients and their familiesSkills & ExperienceCertificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support or similarAn Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insuranceStrong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationshipsA current First Aid and CPR CertificateSuccessful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients.
