Your OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Group Risk & Compliance team.In this role, you'll play an important part in the operational oversight of regulatory compliance across Cuscal, with a focus on regulatory obligation management, compliance assurance, regulatory change and financial product compliance.You'll also make an impact by:Supporting the ongoing management of Cuscal's compliance framework and risk and compliance systemMaintaining key compliance registers, monitoring plans, training plans and consolidated compliance reportingDeveloping and reviewing compliance policies, standards and guidancePerforming compliance reviews and control assurance activities to assess adherence to key regulatory obligationsProactively monitoring emerging regulatory and legislative change, assessing potential impacts and recommending appropriate actionsProviding stakeholders with updates and guidance on regulatory developments across APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, OAIC and DIA requirementsSupporting regulatory certifications, reporting and engagementOverseeing the risk and compliance training calendar and contributing to the design of compliance training programsSupporting audit activities and responses to external information requestsProviding regular and ad hoc compliance reporting and analysis to management.What You'll BringYou're an experienced compliance professional with a strong understanding of the Australian financial services regulatory landscape and the ability to turn complex obligations into practical guidance.You're comfortable working autonomously,
have robust judgement and attention to detail and can build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.You'll also bring:Extensive compliance or regulatory experience within the Australian financial services or payment services industryDemonstrated experience with interpreting and managing financial service obligationsA strong understanding of compliance management principles, structures and processesExperience designing and implementing effective compliance management frameworks within financial servicesKnowledge of APRA standards and requirements for operating as an ADIKnowledge of AML/CTF legislation, the Privacy Act and AFSL requirementsStrong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating regulatory obligations and emerging regulatory changesThe ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and exercise sound judgementWhy Cuscal?
