About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to be part of our Firearms Registry, Police Prosecutions & Licensing Enforcement Command.
The Senior Intelligence Analyst applies expertise in making assessments and predictions to support decision making through a variety of tasks from tactical intelligence functions to strategic reporting on threats and challenges to NSW Police Force.
It is desirable candidates possess:
Experience in working within a high-level information/ data driven team environment.Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in information management and data analysis.Knowledge or understanding of the relevant legislation with the ability to apply these legislative frameworks to identify risks and support public safety.Demonstrated ability being able to adapt and learn complex law enforcement systems currently used by NSWPF.Ability to provide recent examples of leading complex intelligence projects that prioritise community protection and public safety.Ability to decipher and interpret raw data into sophisticated intelligence products with a view of conducting high-level verbal and written briefings for Senior Leadership to influence strategic decision-making.A clear focus on using intelligence as a proactive tool to anticipate threats,



predict crime trends and safeguard the community.
