Join WesTrac's Diggers & Drills Support (DDS) team and play a key role supporting CAT® drills and mining excavators across Western Australia.The DDS team is a dedicated product support division that provides aftermarket support to the growing population of Cat® Drills and Hydraulic Mining Shovels across WA.
Through our regional branch network, site support technicians and product specialists, we deliver specialised hands‐on technical support, maintenance expertise and breakdown response to help customers maximise equipment performance and uptime.Reporting to the Supervisor, you'll work across a range of customer sites supporting maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting activities on CAT® drills and excavators.
This is a hands‐on role suited to a trade‐qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic who enjoys working both autonomously and as part of a close‐knit field service team.Roster8/6 FIFO roster12-hour shiftsWhat You'll DoPerform maintenance, repairs and fault finding on CAT® drills and excavatorsSupport planned maintenance, shutdowns and breakdown response activitiesAssemble and commission new equipment including CAT® MD**** and MD**** drills, and ********* excavatorsDeliver safe,
