About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of maintenance services to the mining industry, delivering shutdown, planned and breakdown maintenance across various mine sites.
With a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship and reliability, they are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their team for ongoing shutdown maintenance work.
What You Will Be Doing
Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant assets
Performing shutdown maintenance, repairs and servicing of mechanical equipment
Maintaining and repairing CHPP (Wash Plant) and fixed plant equipment
Supporting maintenance activities across various mine sites
Assisting with rigging and equipment handling as required
Working safely and effectively as part of a team in a mining environment
What You Will Need
Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
Current Standard 11
Current Coal Board Medical
Demonstrated experience in CHPP (Wash Plant) maintenance
Gas Monitor Training Certificate
Confined Spaces Training Certificate
Working at Heights Training Certificate
Permit Cluster Training Certificate
Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and team-based maintenance activities
