We are seeking an Assistant Retirement Community Manager to join our friendly team at Victoria Grange Retirement Village in Vermont South.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a vibrant retirement community while helping residents enjoy a connected, engaging, and fulfilling lifestyle.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position working Monday to Thursday 9am - 4:30pm/5pm.About the RoleWorking alongside the Retirement Community Manager, you will support the smooth and efficient operation of the village while helping to deliver an exceptional resident experience.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the day-to-day operations of the retirement communityAssisting in the leadership of administration, maintenance, gardening and contracted service teamsBuilding strong relationships with residents and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional mannerCoordinating resident activities, events and community initiativesAssisting with budgeting, financial administration, reporting and invoice processingSupporting compliance and continuous improvement activitiesLiaising with contractors, suppliers and key stakeholdersWorking collaboratively with Resident Committees to understand community needs and opportunitiesAbout YouYou are a capable and adaptable professional who enjoys variety and can confidently manage competing priorities.To be successful, you will bring:Previous experience in retirement living or a similar role (highly desirable)Robust administrative,
organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent customer service and relationship-building abilitiesExperience working in a rapid-paced environment where priorities can change quicklyFinancial administration and budgeting skillsA proactive approach with well-developed problem-solving capabilitiesIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsThe ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environmentWhat's on Offer?
