Beneficial (Casual)Cardinal Care Support Services – Brisbane QLDAbout the roleCardinal Care Support Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team across Brisbane, with service coverage extending from Morayfield through Windsor, Logan, and down to the Gold Coast.
This is a casual position offering flexibility while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
You will provide person‐centred support to service users, assisting with daily living activities, community participation, and achieving personal goals.
Experience in mental health support is highly beneficial for this role.What you'll be doingDaily living support — assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasksCommunity participation — supporting service users to engage in social and recreational activitiesEmotional support — providing companionship, especially for individuals with mental health needsGoal development — helping service users build independence and achieve personal goalsRecord keeping — maintaining accurate notes on support provided and progressCommunication — collaborating with service users, families, and the wider support teamFollowing support plans — adapting approaches to meet diverse and individualised needsPromoting dignity — ensuring respectful,
