Are you an experienced Asphalt labourer?
There are a couple of opportunities for ongoing work across a mix of projects.
You will be working within the Brisbane City Council, Asphalt and Aggregates branch.
As part of the team, you will be working on projects on various sites around Brisbane.
About your new role: The variety of this role will expand across but not limited to the following labouring tasks
Use screen board/shovel an rakes to spread asphalt
Perform routine manhole and sheet patching repairs
Help with clearing tree and bushes away from roads
Gravel and asphalt pavements
Ability to maintain a safe work setting
Guide trucks and traffic while moving and tipping
Have a current truck license to be able to drive truck to different locations during each shift
What you will need to exceed:



We are looking for asphalt labourers with experience or in a similar field services role.
A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety and ensuring all work is conducted according to safety procedures and guidelines.
Current C Class license & own vehicle required
Work safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
MR/HR license required
Asphalt labouring experience required
Road and traffic awareness
