Brown rice Noosa Civic is seeking a Front of House team member to join our vibrant restaurant in Noosaville, Queensland.
This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests.
You will be the face of our establishment, creating welcoming first impressions and ensuring every diner enjoys a memorable visit.
Working in our fast-paced dining environment, you'll be part of a agile team committed to outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and managing the seating process to optimise dining flow and customer comfort
Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
Serving food and beverages with professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge of menu items
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the dining area and service stations
Managing table turnover efficiently whilst ensuring guests feel unhurried and valued
Processing payments and managing transactions with accuracy and courtesy
Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any concerns with professionalism and empathy
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Assisting with general restaurant setup, breakdown and restocking duties as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a waiting or front-of-house hospitality role, ideally in a restaurant or casual dining environment




Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for customer service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Reliability and professionalism with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Food handling knowledge or willingness to obtain certification
Preferably, experience working in an Asian cuisine restaurant or familiarity with sushi and Asian dining concepts
