Stores & Inventory ControllerMatraville, NSWOngoing Casual Role38 Hours Per Week | Monday to Friday | Onsite Parking AvailableAn established industrial manufacturing operation is seeking a hands-on Stores & Inventory Controller to support site stores, inventory accuracy, equipment refurbishment processes, and chemical reporting activities.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining physical warehouse responsibilities with inventory administration and reporting.
You will play a key role in ensuring critical engineering spares, consumables, and chemicals are accurately managed to support site operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport equipment refurbishment processes through SAP while ensuring accurate records and transactionsReceive, inspect, and issue engineering spares, consumables, and chemicalsProcess goods movements against SAP purchase orders and work ordersVerify deliveries including quantities, part numbers and conditionReport damaged, incorrect or non-conforming inventory itemsPick and prepare materials for maintenance,



shutdown and production activitiesComplete weekly and monthly chemical reportingLiaise with suppliers and internal finance teams regarding inventory and reporting requirementsInvestigate stock discrepancies, transaction errors and master data issuesMaintain compliance standards relating to hazardous materials and stores operationsIdentify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, stock availability and process efficiencyTo be successful, you will have:Current Forklift Licence (highly regarded, but not mandatory)Demonstrated SAP experiencePrevious stores, warehouse, inventory or spare parts coordination experienceStrong administrative and reporting skillsIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to prioritise competing demands in a busy environmentStrong commitment to workplace safetyProactive and self-motivated approach to workBenefitsLong-term temporary opportunityStable Monday to Friday rosterOnsite parking providedVaried role combining stores operations and administrationOpportunity to contribute to inventory and process improvement initiatives
