Our newest store at Townsville Shopping Centre is now open, and we're growing the team.
We're looking for a Casual Retail Assistant to join us for around 10 to 20 hours per week, with hours varying depending on business needs.

The store is new, the team is still taking shape, and the people who join now will help build Amara's name in Townsville from the early days.

About the Role
As a Casual Retail Assistant, you'll be a brand ambassador for Amara Parfums, helping customers discover their perfect scent while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
Your key responsibilities include:
Engaging with customers and guiding them on their fragrance journey.




Confidently recommending scents based on each customer's preferences.
Handing out perfume samples to introduce new shoppers to the brand.
Meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
Processing sales and handling transactions accurately.
Keeping displays beautiful, well stocked and organised.
Assisting with stock management, including deliveries, counts and restocking.
Supporting day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing.
What We're Looking For
A friendly, confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
A passion for fragrance and an ability to learn our entire product range.
A strong work ethic and the ability to work towards sales targets as part of a team.
Flexibility to work across centre trading hours, including Thursday late nights, weekends and public holidays.
Availability of 10 to 20 hours per week.
Availability across the Christmas trading period is essential, as this is our busiest time of year.
Full daytime and evening availability.

Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not essential.
Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn matter most.
