Working within the agriculture industry, you will be part of a hands‐on outdoor team completing a range of pre‐harvest and harvest activities in a fast‐paced, physical workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will support day‐to‐day vineyard operations across both pre‐harvest preparation and grape harvesting.
The role requires attention to detail, safe work practices and the ability to meet productivity and quality expectations.Carry out rolling, vine training and general vineyard maintenancePut vineyard covers on and take them off as requiredUndertake pruning, weeding,
planting and trellisingComplete general orchard and vineyard dutiesClean work areas and equipmentHarvest grapes by hand using picking shears or snips as requiredSort and place grape bunches into collection bins or cratesHandle fruit carefully to minimise damage and bruisingFollow instructions from supervisors and team leadersWork safely outdoors in varying weather conditionsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentMeet required productivity and quality targetsPick grapes safely and efficiently in line with workplace requirements$***** per hour plus applicable penalty ratesApproximately 4-5 months of seasonal workApproximately 40 hours per weekVaried vineyard duties across both pre‐harvest and harvest periodsOutdoor work in an established grape‐growing operationSupportive team environment with a strong focus on safety and qualityYour Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in vineyard, orchard, farm or other agricultural work is highly regardedComfortable completing physical and repetitive tasks outdoorsAble to work efficiently while maintaining quality standardsGood attention to detail when handling and harvesting fruitAbility to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a teamReliable, punctual and committed to safe work practicesWilling and able to work in varying weather conditionsComfortable working under piece‐rate arrangements where applicable
