The program is an extension of the classroom and coaches must handle their approach as teachers.JOB SUMMARY:The Assistant Girls Track Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Girls Track Coach by directly training players, developing strategies, analyzing opponent's strengths and weaknesses, managing practice drills, providing feedback to players,



and performing administrative tasks as directed by the Head Girls Track Coach to ensure overall success of the team all while upholding the team's values and promoting sportsmanship.QUALIFICATIONS:Assistant Girls Track Coaching Experience is RequiredValid Driver's licenseHigh School DiplomaState of Ohio Pupil Activity PermitFederal and State Background checkSport Medicine Certified as required by the Ohio High School Athletic AssociationCPR, Concussion and any other required TrainingAbility to be cooperative in working with players, parents, administrators, and community membersKnowledge of Cambridge City School District and Athletic Policies regarding students with respect to scholarship, personal conduct standards, health and safety factorsMust process the knowledge and the necessary skills of the sportExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWORKING CONDITIONS:Often subjected to extremes of cold below 32 degrees and heat above 100 degrees.Occasionally subjected to extreme noise, odors, mists, and dust.Exposure to body fluids, communicable diseases.Travel between locations may cause exposure to hazardous driving and walking conditions.Postings current as of 10/8/2026 3:52:25 PM CST.
