Bishop Brothers engineering Ltd – Banyo QLDBishops is a leading PNG industrial hardware and safety equipment supplier with over 50 years of experience in servicing Mining & Civil, Government, Oil and Gas, Electrical, MRO, Commercial, Construction and Engineering industries.Prospect for a motivated Store person with a can-do attitude to join our small Warehouse team within our Australian consolidation depot in Brisbane (Banyo).
The roleYou will be responsible for the receiving, handling and dispatching of goods coming into, or out of our Brisbane Distribution Centre.
This includes checking goods on arrival and before loading containers for dispatch to PNG ports, making sure they have the right products, in the correct quantity and that there is no damage.About youYou will need to be highly motivated to continually exceed our internal customers' expectations, support company driven initiatives, and become an integral part of our warehouse team at Banyo.

pallet jack or trolley to assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving goods around the warehouse for storageResponsible for the picking, packing, wrapping and dispatching completed orders to internal customers for sea or air freightResponsible for ensuring the storing and packing of goods and materials is in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulationsOperate computer system for entering details of received delivery slips, requisitions, invoicesAllocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areasEnsure the warehouse area is neat and tidyWorking to achieve the goals and targets defined by the companyYou will need to bring to Bishops:Your positive personality to a team dedicated to rolling up their sleeves and giving anything a goPrevious warehousing desirable, if no experience a willingness to learn and we will train youCurrent Forklift license (LO) advantageous, if not we will train youAbility to get yourself to work on time dailyIntermediate proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to follow instruction, with the opportunity to work independently, and also as part of our small teamGood organisational, communication and interpersonal skillsBe physically fit and enjoy practical and manual workBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
