Locations: Tweed Heads and Surrounding Areas.Be Recruitment is seeking passionate and skilled Therapeutic Youth Workers to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people with complex needs.This role is within a residential care setting and requires candidates to hold a minimum Cert IV qualification in Community Services, Youth Work, or a related field – this is non-negotiable.About the RoleAs a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who have experienced significant trauma, abuse, and neglect.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:Provide consistent therapeutic care, grounded in trauma-informed practiceModel positive, pro-social behaviours to help young people develop healthy relationships and life skillsCreate a secure, nurturing, and structured home environmentSupport young people in understanding and managing trauma-related behavioursEncourage engagement in educational, recreational, and community activitiesAssist with daily routines including personal care, meals, school attendance,
