All Saints Anglican School Merrimac – Merrimac QLDWe are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and nurturing Pre Prep Teacher Aide to join our Pre Prep Centre in ****.The All Saints Pre Prep Centre is the beginning year of All Saints Anglican School.
Our Centre caters for 75 students across 3 classes, offering both a full time and part-time program.
The All Saints Pre Prep program is developed from the Queensland Kindergarten Learning guidelines and aligned by the National Early Years Learning Framework: 'Belonging Being Becoming'.
This is a fixed term, part-time position (5 days per fortnight) for the **** school year.About the RoleThe Teacher Aide works collaboratively with the Pre Prep Teacher to support the delivery of a high-quality educational program that promotes each child's learning, development, wellbeing and sense of belonging.Support the Pre Prep Teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with relevant early years frameworks and the School's philosophy.Build positive and respectful relationships with children, supporting their learning, wellbeing, independence, social development and sense of belonging.Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment, supporting children with diverse learning and developmental needs and promoting cultural awareness and sustainability.Provide effective supervision and behaviour support, ensuring children's safety and wellbeing at all times.Assist with observations, documentation and preparation of learning resources to support children's progress and program planning.Build positive relationships with families and colleagues,



contribute to the effective operation of Pre Prep, and participate in professional development and School activities.About YouCertificate III Early Childhood or higher.Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.Current First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management certificates.Possess, or be eligible to apply for, and maintain for the duration of employment a positive notice Blue Card for child related employmentPrevious experience in similar role.Knowledge of the National Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines an advantage.A high level of enthusiasm and motivation with a friendly and nurturing manner.Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, parents and children.Why Join All Saints Anglican SchoolAt All Saints, we believe that education is about far more than just academic results.
