Legacy on Victoria are looking for an experienced Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.This is a dynamic role in which you will engage residents through fun and varied activities to provide joyful and positive experiences each day.
A key part of the role is to get to know our residents and work with them to ensure they feel valued, safe, and are able to maintain strong social connections within the home.
You will also work closely with care staff and catering services to identify needs and co-ordinate special events.Your Main Responsibilities Include:Coordinating activities and therapies as directed by the Lifestyle CoordinatorAssisting with maintaining documentation of activities and therapies according to Strengthened Aged Care Standanrds requirements, including individual resident activity profilesProviding one on one support to residents with physical and cognitive impairments, to meet individual needs and reduce challenging behavioursSupporting residents to engage in individual activities, use technology, and connect with friends and familyAbout You:Previous experience in aged care or lifestyle or wellbeing programs - Certificate in Leisure and Lifestyle (or similar)
